I was born in San Jose, California and raised in the small town of Morgan Hill. While growing up, I have the fondest memories of helping my mom, sisters, and friends selecting “the perfect” outfits for special events. Growing up my mom and I would go to thrift stores and seek out hidden fashion gems. Every year for Halloween I would design my own costume and my mom would hand sew the design. We would head to the fabric store and I would pick out my favorite costume pattern and fabric, then we’d go back home to begin creating it together. My mom has been a huge influence in growing my interest in fashion and helping me realize my passion for it. In high school, I was fortunate enough to take a Fashion Design class for three years which I enjoyed very much. Less than a month after graduating from high school I moved to Los Angeles to attend FIDM/ Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. While attending FIDM I gained valuable information about the fashion industry, styling, and visual techniques in classes and internships. After graduating in 2012 with my Associates of Arts Degree in Visual Communications, I began to pursue my career as a freelance Wardrobe Stylist. Along with working as a freelance Stylist, I am the Lead Fashion/Product Stylist at Precision Studios and co-founder and Fashion Stylist of Sparkle Like Sunshine. Mixing my love for design and fashion I began blogging about all of my passions! I hope I can inspire you to keep true to your free spirit and to always follow your heart.
